Praying that this finds you all doing well and that your 2012 is off to a great start!  January was a very busy month for the ministry.  Lots of events and they were all different.  One of them was an amazing night of music featuring the music of the Oscar award winning team- The Sherman Brothers.  The concert was titled, “A Tribute to Richard Sherman.”  What a night it was with lots of special guest musicians and vocalists and included Richard Sherman himself!  It was amazing to watch the man who wrote some fun music like, “Mary Poppins,” “Jungle Book,” “It’s a Small World,” and more!  Mickey Mouse was on hand too!  This took place on January 8th, 2012 at Disney’s historic El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, CA.  It was a wonderful opportunity to play this man’s music in front of him and pay tribute to this wonderful man.  I love the more recent piece that we did titled, “Prayer.”

This month takes me to ME for an event and then busy in the studio with four projects.  Some are re-releases and I am excited to announce work on a brand new worship project titled, “Moved to Worship.”  Stay tuned for details!

Lord’s Blessings upon you and know that our Lord walks with you in the good times and the bad.  He is not only the God of the mountain but also the God of the valley!  He is with us always!!

]]> http://www.pianocreations.com/november-2011/feed/ 0 October 2011 http://www.pianocreations.com/october-2011/ http://www.pianocreations.com/october-2011/#comments Tue, 04 Oct 2011 16:10:48 +0000 alex http://www.pianocreations.com/?p=1138 Back from Australia and New Zealand!  WOW!  What a wonderful trip this was!!  Lots of great events and we raised $700 for World Vision while over there.  These concerts were with a friend of mine, Rob Richards, who is the house theater organist at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood, CA.  It is Disney’s premiere theater.  The concerts were a mix of music including Disney, Movies, and Gospel.

The day after returning to the states, I had events with Sandi Patty, Chonda Pierce and Pat Boone.  All of these events went really well.

You just never know how God can use you.  God uses ordinary people all the time to carry out His will.  I thank God for these ministry opportunities!

It has been a busy time for the ministry over the past few months!  Hard to believe that my last blog was in January.  We are looking forward to “A Night at the Ivories” in MO on May 20th.  We are also looking forward to our ministry cruise that sets sail the next day!  The concerts on the ship will be fun but we are also praying for great outreach and ministry to take place.  Once we come back from the cruise, I’ll be heading up to minister in Indiana and Michigan.

Also, I arranged two Christmas selections for Hal Leonard for a book titled, “Holly and the Ivory.”  This will be released on June 15th.  We will have more details soon!

Please keep us in prayer as we head out to minister through several events over the next few months.  It’s all about sharing His saving message and impacting lives.  Also, let us know how we can pray for you!

]]> http://www.pianocreations.com/may-2011/feed/ 0 Disney Event! http://www.pianocreations.com/disney-event/ http://www.pianocreations.com/disney-event/#comments Tue, 25 Jan 2011 05:06:11 +0000 alex http://www.pianocreations.com/?p=731 Hope that your 2011 is going well so far.  Hard to believe that it is almost the end of January!  Last weekend was a lot of fun!  I had the opportunity to share music at Disney’s historic El Capitan Theatre on Hollywood Blvd.  Disney had asked me to join Disney musician, Rob Richards, for a special event titled, “Disney Pipes and Pops!”  It was fun music that included Disney songs from 1928 to 2010.  In the middle of our two hour concert, there was a turning-point to the event.  I shared an arrangement titled, “Glory to His Name Medley” which was followed by Sherman brother’s song, “Prayer.”  What an opportunity to share His gift…the gift of music!!!  Glory to HIS name!!!

There are a lot of exciting events coming up this month in January.  First up is a special event at Disney’s historic El Capitan Theater on Hollywood Blvd.  Afterwards, Monica and I will be at a World Vision Conference in San Antonio, TX.  We are looking forward to learning more about making an impact in lives of children around the world.  Afterwards, it’s off to Cameron, MO for two ministry events!!
